Mitten Tree

In the gathering area you’ll see the Mitten Tree, a familiar sight each Advent season.  For years members have placed their hand-knitted or purchased mittens, gloves and scarves on the tree.  Then after Christmas, Faith & Practice sends the mittens to The Shack Neighborhood House in Pursglove, WV. 

In addition to the mittens, gloves and scarves, Faith & Practice will this year be collecting men’s and women’s warm socks for the homeless in our area.
